K–12 · One-on-one classes

Your child knows the answers. They just don’t believe they’re allowed to say them.

Welcome to The Forge, learning built around your child. Every child learns differently. That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. At The Forge, your child gets a dedicated teacher, a personalised learning plan, and the support they need to grow in confidence and ability, at their own pace.

The problem

40 children. One teacher. Is your child even being seen?

Most classrooms move too fast for the child who thinks before they speak. So they learn to stay quiet, and quiet children get overlooked until it is too late to fix easily.

01
Falling behind quietly

Grades slip a term at a time. By the time you notice, the confidence has gone with them.

02
Bright but bored

A curious child, under-stretched, learning that school is somewhere to sit still.

03
Afraid to raise a hand

They know the answer. They rehearsed it. They just cannot risk being wrong out loud.

The Forge difference

One child. One teacher. One plan built around them.

One-on-one classes are how we build confidence. That is our main offering, not an upgrade. Small group classes are there for families who ask for them.

One-on-one first

A dedicated teacher for your child, every class. Small groups exist, but personalised is the core.

The whole child

Academic rigour, confidence and character, taught together rather than in pieces.

Teachers who stay

Not rotating. Your child's teacher will remember their handwriting.

Progress you can see

Monthly written reports. Real evidence of growth, not vague reassurance.

A note from the founder
A letter from our founder

It began with one teacherand one learner at a time.

The Forge Online School did not begin as a school.

It began with just the founder as the teacher and one learner at a time.

As I taught, I noticed something that troubled me. Teachers work incredibly hard to cover the curriculum in limited time, so we move at the pace of the children who understand quickly, while those who need more time gradually fall behind. It is never intentional, but it happens.

I could relate to those children, because I had once been one of them. Growing up, I was a very timid and shy child. I often knew the answers but lacked the confidence to speak.

What I needed was not more intelligence. I needed someone who believed in me, encouraged me and gave me the confidence to grow.
